About Merlion – 2011 The Merlion Hotel Virtual Reality Image
The Merlion Hotel, Mr Tatzu Nishi’s project for the Singapore Biennale 2011, converts the iconic Merlion into a luxurious temporary hotel room by building the 100 sq m luxury room structure around the Merlion statue.
The Merlion Hotel will host overnight guests from April 4 to May 5 at $150 nett and the rooms have already been fully booked.
The Merlion will then be reinstated to it's original form by June 6th, 2011.

Partial because the balcony and bathroom portions are missing.
