I know everyone always circlejerks each other about Salad Fingers, but when I was a kid watching flash stuff, I always appreciated a certain Burnt Face hero instead. I recovered my old Newgrounds account and one of the only comments is about how god damn hard the first 20 seconds of this made me laugh. 10 year olds used to be built different, I guess.
It makes me physically sick to think about how free and fun the old internet used to be and how badly it has been compromised now. Before it was neutered and nothing but a corporate asset for control/profit in the same way as radio and television, when it was a place of free expression populated by nerds and college kids, instead of an imagination-less wasteland infected by sociopolitical and corporate degeneracy. Take me back to a time when you could have a little gore in a cartoon for laughs without accusations of trying to be “eDgY”, call someone “burnt GAY man >:)” and even your gay friends would laugh (opposed to a bunch of well-intentioned, but low IQ mutants sending you death threats over a silly little joke), and exploding infants were a opening gag.
